Hello Everybody!
Can you believe it? It's 2016 already! What a year it's been!
For me, 2015 has flown by so quickly and so many crazy things have happened!
This blog has really changed since the beginning, so lets take a quick trip down memory lane...

May 9th 2015

This was my first post on this blog! Sadly (not really sad!), the post is no longer available, I don't even have a copy of it myself, but believe me when I say it was very awkward and not very well written at all! I think the post was a Get to Know Me tag, in which the answers were literally just one word. After this post, I didn't post anything else until August, when this post got deleted. I don't really know why I didn't post anything, I think it was probably because I was really put off by the fact of how bad the post was and I just thought, well nobody is going to read it anyway. I'm actually quite glad no one did read it!

August 23rd 2015

This is the first post which is still available on my blog. I don't think there was any before it. The first post was just a simple about post, which I have actually updated since then, but not very much. The next post was the following day and it was a Real Techniques Review post, which to be fair, wasn't that bad. Sort of. To this day, that post has 22 views and no comments.

November 5th 2015

This was the day I hit 1000 views on this blog. Obviously, this isn't a big number, but to me, this will always be quite the achievement because I never even thought that I would get 100 views.

December 30th 2015

On December 30th, the amount of views I had was 4560. This is quite a big number for my little brain! I know there are blogs which are so much bigger than my own, but to think I have thousands of views on my little blog is crazy and I just want to take the chance to say, thank you!

So on with the actual post... oops, that introduction was a bit long!

At this time of year, people begin to make a pledge to themselves to do something better in the New Year and these things are called New Years Resolutions. Usually, people make three resolutions. I once read that people only make three because it makes it more realistic to achieve. Typical resolutions include eat less chocolate, do more exercise and things like that, which, to be quite honest are usually mine. However this year, I am going to try and pick ones that mean something more to me and I actually think I might be able to achieve, because, lets face it, I was never going to achieve the chocolate one...

1. Drink more water

I suppose this is similar to the chocolate one, but I think that this one is something which I can actually do. I don't think I drink enough water and I drink too many sugary drinks, which aren't good for me, so this year, I want to drink more water! I am going to aim to drink at least one decent sized cup of water a day, hopefully more!

2. Do more of what makes me happy

This year, I want to do more of what makes me happy, without caring about what people think of me. I think this will probably be the hardest one out of the three which I have chosen.

3. This blog

I want to continue to post on this blog and to improve the content on here further. I also want to post some new and exciting posts, which I haven't done before, on here! For example, lookbooks, how to posts and more!

Let me know in the comments what your New Years Resolutions are and perhaps a way in which you might achieve that!

Thank you for all of your support this year, it really does mean the world to me! I hope I can continue to write posts which you enjoy on here next year! I love you all!
See you in 2016!

Hello Everybody!
Welcome to Blogmas Day 3!
Todays post is something which I haven't done before! Today I am going to be doing a Q&A!
I earlier this week, I asked for some Christmas Q&A questions,so here goes my first Q&A!

What's your favourite thing about Christmas?

I don't know! I think my favourite part about christmas is spending time with my family. I also really enjoy christmas day because everyone feels really happy! What about you? Let me know in the comments!

Which do you prefer- Christmas Day or the build up to Christmas?

As much as I love christmas day, I really enjoy the build up as it is when everyone is happy and you do lots of fun family activities! I also enjoy the build up because it means that christmas hasn't happened yet, however, after christmas day, it is over :(

Would you rather have Christmas in the Summer or Winter?

In the UK, we have christmas in the Winter, meaning it is often cold and rainy and as much as the stories say they do, white christmas' do not happen! At least they haven't during my life time! However, I would rather have Christmas in the Winter because as much as I do complain about the cold weather, I think it would be weird for me to have Christmas in the warm! If you have christmas in the summer, let me know what you would prefer!

If you could give Christmas another name, what would it be?

Oooh! This is a hard one! I really don't know, maybe Giving Day? That sounds no where near as exciting! I think we'll stick to Christmas!

If you could go anywhere in the world for christmas, where would you go?

Personally, I would go to Florida, because it is somewhere I went for christmas when I was younger, so I think it will always be somewhere I would want to go again for christmas!

Quality Street or Heroes?

Sorry Quality Street, I'm Heroes all the way! I'm a Cadbury girl!

Do you have a colour scheme on your Christmas tree?

Yes, in our house, we have red and gold ball balls, with colourful fairy lights. I really wanted to get white and blue ball balls, but I was out voted!

How festive do you feel on a scale of one to ten (one being the least, ten the most)?

hmmm, maybe about a 7! I don't feel very festive this year! Ask me again Christmas eve!

Thats it for todays Q&A! If you liked this post, let me know in the comments if you want me to do something like this in the future. Also leave some questions for future posts!
Thank you!

Hello Everybody!
Today I thought I would share with you a few of my favourite films which I like to watch around christmas time! It was actually quite hard, but I managed to narrow it down to five!
I'm going to start with my least favourite, but really, there isn't much in it!

5. The Grinch

I watched this for the first time a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed it! This is a real family film and quite a classic!

4. Nativity

I LOVE Nativity! These films are about a school full of young children who are usually up to no good! I have seen both number one and two, but I am yet to see number three! I really want to watch it over the christmas period, so I think I need to look on Netflix for it, or go out and buy it!

3. Elf

It is impossible to 1. not watch this at christmas and 2. not laugh at this film. Will Ferrel is incredible as Buddy the Elf and really makes me laugh! If you haven't seen this film, why not? It is suitable for the whole family, so I think it would make a really good christmas watch!

2. Wreck it Ralph

Yes, I know, this isn't a christmas film, but in our house, we ALWAYS watch it on Christmas Eve, so for me, it always has a christmas special spot! If you haven't seen this, no matter how old you are, you need to watch it! I have seen this so many times and I am not bored of it!

1. Jingle all the way

This is a new one in my favourites. I saw this for the first time a couple of weeks ago and I laughed so much! I have watched this film twice in the past week and will probably watch it again! The film stars Arnold Schwarzenegger who is amazing as a workaholic father. I think this film is very relatable to so many families on Christmas eve!

That was my top 5 Christmas films! Let me know some of your favourites in the comments below! I will be sure to check them out, I need more christmas films to watch!
See you tomorrow!

Day 1- Current Favourites

Sunday, 20 December 2015

Hello Everybody!
It is Day One of my christmas specials! It is also 5 days until Christmas! So for todays post, I will be talking about a few of my current favourites!

Collection Work the Colour Lip Butter

This is quite a recent purchase of mine, but I am in love with it! In fact, I fell in love with it the second I tried it! There are many things which I loved about this product, but one of the main things is the colour. The one which I have is 3 Vintage Rose, this is a subtle pink colour, which I think is perfect around christmas, especially if you don't like a bold red lip or a daring pink. This is defiantly a step up from a nude lip, but a dolled down version of a bright pink. It's not too bright but you can see the pink. I love it! Since I brought earlier this week, I have worn it everyday! I also like the shine it gives off because it is a lip butter. The colour also winds up, so you can change it to the angle which you like. This was £2.99 in Superdrug, but I'm pretty sure you can get this in Boots as well! I also really like the packaging as it is perfect for throwing in your handbag and just for in the make up bag. I really can't find a fault with this! If any of you have tried the other colours, please let me know what they are like and which ones are best!

Candy Mountain- Lush

Okay, okay, okay, yes I think I am becoming obsessed with Lush, I know I said that I didn't like it, but lets just forget about that! I am currently on my second one of these. I love the scent, however, like I said in my Brighton haul when I brought this, it is a sweet scent, so if you don't like sweet scents, you won't like this. I do really like sweet scents though and I think this was my favourite out of all the ones which I purchased. The bubbles which this creates are amazing! If you haven't tried this, Lush fan or not, you NEED to go to Lush as soon as possible as I think these are part of the christmas collection (correct me if I'm wrong) and I'm assuming they leave soon!

MUA eyeshadow Palette Heaven and Earth

I think I have spoken about this once or twice before, but I have recently become obsessed with this again! The colours in this palette are mainly browns and golds, which I think are perfect around this time of year! I generally use four colours when using this palette at the moment and they are Catacomb, Babylon, Golden Sand and Amber Dune. As a base, I mix together Catacomb and Amber Dune as this gives a subtle brown, which is really nice for a gold eye. I then use Golden Sand from my inner corner through my crease to the middle, then using Babylon in my outer corner through the crease. I find that this gives a really nice gold eye! This palette is £4 and great quality! If you are looking for a good eyeshadow for an amazing price, this is one for you!  Let me know if there are any other MUA pallets which I might like!

VSCO cam

So this is something different in one of my favourites posts! This favourite is an app. In fact, this is an editing app. I use this app to edit all of my photos, whether they are for personal use, my blog, or my social medias! I found this app a couple of weeks ago and it took my a while to get to grips with it at first, however, now I know the ropes of it, I love it! I like this app because you can see how your photos together, which is really helpful if you have a theme on Instagram as it means that you can see what your photos look like together. If you are looking for a good app to edit photos with, this one is for you! You can pick many filters and choose how strong you want them. It is also free! I know it is available on the Apple store, but I'm not sure where else you can get it. If you know, leave it in the comments for other people to see!

I have recently managed to collect quite a few notebooks and I love all of them! I particularly like ones with patterns on the front because they look really cool! One of my favourites which I have been using at the moment is the one which you can currently get with Shout Magazine. It has cute little patterns on the front in rose gold, black and white. My favourite doodle on it is one that says "Do you even vlog?" The notebook is currently available in Shout magazine. I generally tend to write post ideas in this notebook as I often run out of ideas, so I am going to find this really useful in the future!

Blue Neighbourhood- Troye Sivan

Of course, I had to include music in my favourites! This month, it currently happens to be a bit of Troye. Obviously, I love Troye's music, but I am OBSESSED with Blue Neighbourhood! If you haven't already listened to it, buy it on iTunes or listen to it on Spotify (or whatever your preference is!) There is not a single song on there which I don't like! As usual, Troye pulled it out of the bag!

So thats about it for todays post! Let me know some of your favourites in the comments below! I look forward to reading them!
I hope you are enjoying my Christmas specials so far!
See you tomorrow!

Can you believe how quickly this year has gone? It is nearly 2016 AND christmas! I am so excited, I can't even put it into words! Obviously, I didn't do blogmas this year, so as a little christmassy special, for the next five days (starting tomorrow)  until christmas, I will be writing a new post EVERY day and posting it the same day!
The posts will be going up at 5pm GMT (UK time).

So this is where you come in! I am going to need a name for my festive posts, so if you have any ideas, please leave them in the comments! I really appreciate it!

I'll see you tomorrow!

Hello Everybody!
So today, I thought I would do a post about my thoughts. I haven't done one of these in a while, so if you are new around here, you might not have seen any of my previous ones. These posts are usually entered around something which I have been thinking about or are based around a quote. Todays thoughts are based around a quote from Luke Hemmings (5SOS)- "Find something that makes you happy and don't let anyone take it away from you."
I couldn't agree more with this quote. Wise ol' Luke!
Finding something that makes you happy can be hard. Before you find something that makes you happy, you need to find something which defines you. You need to find yourself.
Life is filled with so many "what if" and "but" 's, but sometimes it's about going for it and following your dreams. However, to follow your dreams, you need to find something that makes you happy. (Back to the original topic!) I can't advise you on how to find something that makes you happy, so I'm going to share my experiences:
A little over a year ago, I stumbled upon a little thing called YouTube.
Okay, let me rewind a little. Of course I had heard of YouTube before and watched videos on it, but never had I watched YouTubers, like Zoe and Joe Sugg, Alfie Deyes, Jim Chapman and many more. I had heard people talk about Zoe, but I had never watched any of her videos. One day in October (I think!) 2014, I was looking up 'How to do Milkmaid Braids' and clicked on Zoe's video. Little did I know, I was watching her video. I found myself laughing and enjoying her video. I only realised afterwards that it was the famous Zoella's video who I was watching. It was then that I realised why people enjoyed her videos. From that day, my love for YouTube spiralled and I began watching so many different YouTubers. After watching YouTube for a little over a year, I can defiantly say that I have become more confident within myself and thats what made me happy.

So that leads me onto my next point, don't let anyone take it away from you. YouTube gets a lot of hate. There are various comments which fly around concerning the topic. "Your just like everyone else like Zoella" "You just want to seem cool" "They are just pathetic people who sit in front of a camera for a living, they need a real job" Yes, they are real comments. However, these comments have not stopped me from watching YouTube. In fact, these comments are just opinions and not facts at all. When people hate upon something, it just means they are jealous. In my case, YouTube, the people who hate upon YouTube, they don't realise how happy these YouTubers make people. So when you find something which makes you happy, don't let anyone take it away from you  and hold onto it tight.

Thank you so much for reading and all of your support. In the comments, let me know something that makes you happy, I look forward to reading them! That's something which makes me happy, your lovely comments!

Also, leave some questions for a good ol' #AskAbbyLouise (Q&A)! Or tweet me them on twitter (@abbylouiseblog)! Thank you!
I love you all!

Hello Everybody!
*Before I start this post, I would just like to say that in no way am I trying to brag, I just thought I would share with you some of the things that I bought because you might want to buy it and haven't seen it!*
I went to Brighton on Saturday! Brighton is literally one of my favourite places... accept from when it rains... I hate it when it rains! Either way, I did a bit of shopping there, so I thought I would share with you a few of the things I brought! Okay, so I'm going to section this into shops and the order in which I brought them. Here we go!

Despite Connor Franta being one of my favourite YouTubes, I hadn't actually purchase his book, A Work in Progress, so I popped into Waterstones to see if they had the hardback edition as he signed all of the hardback editions and I found it! This was £14.99 I have actually already started reading it, and I have to say it is amazing! If you haven't already got it, paperback or hardback, I really recommend it, especially if you are a Connor Franta fan, or if you just want to try something new! Also, If you don't already watch him, check out his videos because I guarantee they will put a smile on your face!
If you want to find out where you can find a signed edition, check out the video below!

The next thing I bought was from Lakeland, it was a Kilner Jar. If you weren't aware, you are now, that I have a slight obsession with Jam Jars. Obviously, these are available in so many places, not just Lakeland, and in so many shapes and sizes! But the one which I actually bought was £2.99 (I think!) I was actually looking for a jam jar in Tiger, but they didn't have the ones in there which I bought from there before, which were £1.00, so I tried Lakeland and ended up buying a proper Kilner Jar! I generally use these to store little bits and bobs, like wristbands and hairbands and things like that!

Yes, I did go in two books stores, don't judge! I didn't actually buy any books in there thought, I picked up Glamour magazine which has the wonderful Tanya Burr on the front! I haven't read this magazine before, but picked it up because I saw Tanya's vlog about it. I actually quite enjoyed reading it! The magazine came with a free Clinique mascara sample, which I haven't tried yet, but I am looking forward to trying it because my trusty Maybeline Falsies is starting to dry up! I believe that you could also get a moisturiser or lipstick, both Clinique, with it! This was £2.00. If you are looking to get it, I think it is still available for about another month or so!

Yes, I did go into Lush! If you read my last post, you will know that I haven't actually ever brought anything from Lush because I could never find the right one! However, thanks to all of your suggestions, I managed to find some of them in the very busy store! I only actually bought three in the end, so I thought I would list them:

Candy Mountain:

Okay, so I had a slight issue, I ripped the label! This means that I can no longer see what it says on the label! So I looked on the website and this is what it says:

Fair Trade vanilla grown in the view of the Rwenzori Mountains of the Moon in Western Uganda before being picked into this peak of its own. Crumble the swirled pink summit under running water and embrace glistening ridges of bubbles and comforting creamy candy mist.

I think it smells amazing! I believe this is part of the christmas collection, so if you want this one, you better get it quick!  If you are not a fan of sweet scents, you probably won't like this one, but I do, so I picked this one us! I am so excited to try this! I will let you know what I think of it once I have tried it!

When I was in Lush, going through the bath bombs, I found this one because it's bright colour caught my eye! The website says:

With stimulating cinnamon leaf oil, the warmth of the hearth and the scents of hot fruit punch are a bath away. Skip the open fire and curl up with a fireside gathering of coarse sea salt and popping candy instead.

I am excited to see what happens with the popping candy on this one! If you have tried this, let me know what you think! I don't know how to describe the scent of this one!
Let me know how you would describe it in the comments!

Bath Ballistic
I couldn't find it on the website, argh! I'm not sure if thats even the right name! If you know the description or real name, please leave it in the comments!
I am looking forward to trying this one! I don't know who else thinks this, but it kind of reminds me of christmas! I don't actually think it is part of the christmas collection, thats just how I would describe it! I think it's turquoise blue colour will come out really well in the water! ahhhrv, so excited!

If you want me to do a reaction after I have tried them, let me know in the comments, I will include pictures of them and things like that and if it was worth the buy!

Okay, so thats about all I brought in Brighton! I hope you enjoyed this post and might want to buy some of it!

Also, please leave some questions for a little Q&A (#AskAbbyLouise )which I would like to do in next weeks post! I will try to answer all of them! Pop them in the comments or tweet me them, using my twitter, @abbyLouiseblog

Let me know if you want me to do this sort of thing again and I will see what you all say!As always, thank you so much for all of your support! It means the world to me! You guys truly are the best!

Hello Everybody!
Sorry this post is late! But today I thought I would share with you a few music favourites because there is lots of new music out at the moment! So here are a few amazing songs which I  have loved recently!

Sounds Good Feels Good

Being the big 5SOS lover that I am, of course I had to mention this! Sounds Good Feels Good is the second album from 5 Seconds of Summer, who are my favourite band, and I have to say I love it so much and thats not me being bias! The second album has such a different vibe to the first album and the songs on it have so much meaning! The lyrics obviously mean so much to them and just gaugfaybfh! Theres not much else that I can say in response to the album apart from that I love it! If you haven't already heard it, make sure you check it out, buy it in stores or on iTunes! This actually leads me onto my next music favourite...

Old 5SOS Covers

Okay, so the other day, one of Luke's old covers came up on my YouTube suggestions, so I clicked on it and gave it a listen. This made me so happy to watch because it made me realise how far they have come! Two particular favourites which I have are Luke's cover of Forget You by Cee Lo Green and Luke and Calum's cover of Rolling in the Deep, by Adele. I loved the originals of both of these songs, so to hear my favourites sing them was amazing! But to be fair, all of their covers, old and new, I love!

Troye Sivan- Youth

I love all of Troye's songs, but hearing Youth was amazing! I'm am so proud of how far Troye has come and it just goes to show that #teaminternet really is the best! I love the lyrics in Youth because they are just so inspirational! Love you Troye!

Adele- Hello

Along with the rest of the world, of course I have been loving Hello by the truly talented Adele! The song has so much meaning and I have it on repeat! I haven't yet met anyone who doesn't love this song!

If you didn't know, Justin Bieber has just dropped his new album, Purpose. Before the release of Where are ΓΌ now, I wasn't keen on his music, but this new album is amazing! His new music has really improved from anything in the past! One of my personal favourites from the album is The Feeling ft Halsey, partly because Halsey is amazing, but I just really like the song! Let me know your favourite in the comments!

I head this song on the radio couple of weeks ago and I wasn't actually too sure on it before, but I have to say now, I love this song! It's very upbeat and it gets you dancing! If you haven't heard this, make sure you give it a listen!

Obviously, I have many other songs which I have been loving lately, but these are just a few which I would highlight in detail!
These are a few songs which I have also been loving:
Philip George & Anton Powers- Alone no more
Sleepy Tom and Diplo- Be right there
Fleur East- Sax
Halsey- Ghost

So thats it for this weeks post! Thank you so much for reading! Also, thank you for all of the support lately, I don't think you will ever realise how much it means to me!
Thank you!
Also, let me know some things you want to see on my blog because I  would love get you guys involved!
Love you all!

Hello Everybody!
One thing that I have really been loving at the moment is a bath! Bath bombs and shower creams are something that I have been really enjoying at the moment. They are perfect if you are looking for a nice relaxing evening!

Bath Bombs

Up until about a year ago, I hadn't really had bath bombs, but I tried one and fell in love! I think I was actually given the bath bomb by my best friend as a christmas present and I have to say, it was, and still is, one of my favourites!
Lush is a company where I go quite a lot, but I don't actually buy anything. Don't get me wrong, I really like looking in Lush, but I never seem to find something I like. Lush is filled with so many lovely smells, but as for the actual bath bombs, I'm not so keen. It tends to take me quite a while before I find one I really like, so I don't actually but their products very often. If you know a particular bath bomb currently in Lush which I might like, please leave it in the comments because I would love to know!
Bomb Cosmetics
My current favourite bath bomb company is called Bomb Cosmetics. I love all of their products as they all smell amazing. The scent of the actual bath bombs is very different to the ones at Lush, but I really like them. There are so many different varieties of size, shape, colour, scent, etc. The only problem I have with Bomb is that it isn't an actual shop, or at least I haven't found one! I have only found their products inside other shops.
Wilko Bath Bombs
Okay, so your probably thinking, Wilkinsons?! Yes! They are actually really good and have some amazing scents! They are also really affordable, at only 95p! Theres not much else to say apart from that I love them!
Zoella Beauty
If you haven't already seen Zoe's christmas collection,  you need to check it out as it is only available until christmas! In her christmas collection, Zoe has mini Bath Bombini's which are amazing! They have the original scent and they are one of my favourites at the moment! They come in a really cute little jar, which you can re-use afterwards. Check. Them. Out.

Shower Gels

In my time, I have tried so many different shower gels but it can actually be quite hard to find one which is really good, so I have picked out my top 2!

Treaclemoon Iced Strawberry Dream

Every single time I go into Superdrug or Tesco, I always pick these up and want to try them, but recently, I picked out one which I really liked the smell of and gave it a try. I picked up Treaclemoon Iced Strawberry Dream, which I actually limited edition. I have to say, this is the best shower gel I have ever had! The bottle is massive which means it lasts ages! If you don't have this in your life, you need it! If you have tried any of the others, let me know which ones are good in the comments!

Zoella Beauty: Tutti Frutti Shower Gel

I brought this when she first released the tutti frutti collection and I loved it! The bottle lasted me around 2 months and it was an amazing summery smell! I haven't actually repurchased it yet as I think it is more of a smell which I will enjoy around summer time, but still amazing!

Okay, so these are just a few things which make the ideal bath for me! If you have any suggestions, please leave them in the comments as I would love to read them and try them! I am currently working on a christmassy theme, so look forward to it!

As always, thank you so much for all of your continued support, it really does mean the world!
Love you all lots!

Abby x

(ps. You may have realised that this is not the same ending which I usually use!)

Today I am doing something slightly different to usual! The post which I am going to be doing today is the Liebster Award! I only just heard about this about (maybe) 20 minutes ago? But I was nominated by the wonderful Octavia over at and I thought that it was pretty cool, so I am going to be doing it!

Okay, so the rules are that I must post 11 facts about myself then answer the 11 questions given to me by the person who nominated me. I must then create 11 new questions for the next set of nominees who I will choose. I must tag 5-10 people who have less than 200 followers and let them know that they have been tagged. You cannot tag back! Here we go...

Facts about Me

  1. My favourite band is 5 Seconds of Summer
  2. I am British
  3. I wear ripped jeans a lot
  4. My favourite lipstick is probably Rimmel 107
  5. My middle name is Louise, hence why my blog name is Abby-Louise

Hello Everybody! This post is just a little thank you post as I have just hit 1000 views on my blog! I know this really isn't a lot compared to other bloggers, but to me this is actually insane! I can't actually put together in my head the fact that I have actually hit 1000 views! I think the reason why this is so crazy to me is because when I first started this blog I didn't ever think I would get this many views! I didn't even think that I would get 10! So to get 1000 this is pretty insane!

I would just like to say thank you to each and every one of you because without you, hitting 1000 views would never have been able to be possible! Thank you for your continued support and your lovely comments! If you do leave a comment, I will try to respond to as many of you as I can, which is usually all of you! Hello Everybody!
I can't believe it is November already! Is it just me or has this year gone really fast?

Due to it being the end of the month, I thought I would do a little round up of my favourites from this month! It feels like ages since I last did a favourites post! There have been quite a few things I have been loving this month, which include songs, looks, products and clothing!

1. Rimmel Kate Moss 107 Lipstick

I mentioned in my last favourites post about Rimmel 38 being my favourite summer lipstick. At the end of my ramble about this lipstick, I think I mentioned wanting this, so thats what I did, I went out and brought myself a Rimmel 107. I can honestly say, this has overtaken Rimmel 38 as my all time favourite lipstick. This lipstick makes me feel so Autumnal, even though I will probably still be wearing this in the summer next year! I think the main reason why I like this lipstick is because it really matches my skin tone and doesn't stick out like a sore thumb with my outfits. 107 pretty much goes with anything! If you are looking for a lipstick which is perhaps a little more bold than you would usually go for, but isn't stand-out bright red, this ones for you! (or if your just want a new lipstick to try!) I would describe this shade as a wine colour and it is matte. This was only £5.49 in Superdrug (and many other places!) which is actually a really good price for a lipstick of amazing quality like this! Overall, if you don't have this in your life, you are missing out!

2. Zoella Rose Gold Vanity Case

If you are a follower of Zoe Sugg, you will know that she has recently released her new range and Christmas range! Very exciting! Anyway, I picked this up in Superdrug as I really liked the colour and the shape. I know she has ones very similar to this in her other range (which isn't christmassy!) but I preferred this one as Rose Gold is one of my favourite colours! The size of this is really good if you are struggling to fit everything into your old make-up bag. I really like that it has the transparent (I think this is what it is called?) section in the middle as this makes it so much easier to find what you are looking for! If you are a bit like me and have perhaps a little bit too much make-up, then this is what you need in your life! It also had a sturdy handle on the top which is really useful for transportation! I think that this would be very good for holidays/ a weekend away as your could put your hair brush, shampoo and conditioner, toothbrush and much more in here as well as your make up! There is so much more in her new christmas range which I am sure is also amazing, so if you want to pick any of it up, make sure you head over to Superdrug and! This range is only available over christmas so make sure you get what you want as after christmas it will be gone!

3. Frilly Socks

Okay, I have to admit, these have been a bit of an obsession of mine for a couple of months now, but I haven't mentioned them before, so I thought I would tell you a bit about why I like them (*insert laughing face emoji*) The frilly socks which I have been wearing a lot are from New Look and are £1.99-£2.99 per pair. I really like these because they have a really nice frill on them and show really nice over the top of shoes like converse. If you are like me and roll the ends of your jeans up (My skinny, ripped jeans are really baggy at the bottom, does anyone else have this problem?), these will look even better because you will be able to see them better! I also like the Primark ones, however, these aren't as good as the frill isn't as nice as the New Look ones as it doesn't sit right all of the time. However, these ones are much more reasonable in price!

4. Flannel Shirts

I love flannel shirts. I like to pair mine with a Ringer Tee and high wasted black or blue ripped jeans. Of course, I also wear frilly socks. The ones which I have at home are actually red, but I would really like to get a blue one as I think that would also look really nice too!

5. Curly/ wavy hair

If you have naturally really curly hair, you probably think I am mad, but recently I have been trying to get my hair slightly curly! I generally tend to do this by plaiting it when it is wet then letting it out in the morning or evening. This works quite well for me, so if you do this, let me know how it goes for you and any tips! When I take my plaits out, I just run my hands through it and leave it. Sometimes, I clip bits back or do a half-up, half-down do. Either way, I have really liked this style recently!

6. Grey Nail Polish

The nail polish which I have been wanting for a little while now is Duvet Day by Tanya Burr, but I don't actually have that, so I have actually used a different brand on my nails which is a very similar shade. I'm not sure which nail polish I used because the writing on the bottle has scratched off, but I remember correctly, it was originally part of a christmas set which I got a couple of years ago! I wasn't sure what to expect with a grey nail polish as I usually go for pastel colours, so I thought I would step out of my comfort zone and go for a grey. I really like it! It gives off such an autumnal vibe!

7. Adele- Hello

Along with the rest of the world, I have been LOVING Adele's new song, Hello. If you haven't heard it yet, you need to check it out! I believe it is currently number one! Let me know what you think of it in the comments below!

8. Sounds Good Feels Good

Being the 5SOS fan which I am, of course I have downloaded their new album! I don't think there is a song on there which I don't like! My particular favourites include Castaway and Permanent Vacation! I think Permanent Vacation is one of my favourite because it reminds me of last years tour! In fact, I am very lucky to be going again next year to Sounds Live Feels Live! If any of you are going, I hope you are looking forward to it! Also let me know your favourites from the album!

9. Sorry- Justin Bieber

Finally, I thought I would finish of with Justin Bieber's new song. I wouldn't say I'm a Justin Bieber fan, but I have actually really liked his songs recently! Especially his latest song, Sorry. I have had this stuck in my head since I first heard it!

Thats about it for this weeks post! I hope you have enjoyed this post and be sure to let me know what you've been loving this month in the comments or leave a link to your own blog with your own favourites post! I will be sure to check it out!

I would just like to add that I am nearly at 1000 reads on my blog (I currently have 924) which is so exciting! So I would just like to say thank you so much to everyone who reads my blog and for all of your support! I never even thought that I would get one read on my blog let alone this many! I really do hope that you enjoy my blog and if you do, please be sure to follow me! I think (?) there is a link in the side widgets where you can follow by email!
I love you all so so so so so much!

Hello Everybody!
I've actually posted on a Sunday! It's a miracle!
So, for todays post, I thought I would share with you a few life hacks in which I know of! You may already know some of these, but if you don't, I hope this helps! Enjoy!

1. Greasy Hair

Lets face it, we all get greasy hair :( So, to stop your hair from becoming greasy, you want to take some talcum powder (or baby powder, depending on what you call it) and just massage it into the roots of your hair! This will basically just stop your hair from becoming as greasy and last a bit longer!

2. Perfume

Obviously, perfume can only last a certain amount of time, so I thought I would share with you a little trick for making it last longer. Before you apply your perfume, you want to apply a small amount of vaseline to your wrists of wherever you are applying your perfume and then spray your perfume. This will make it last that little while longer!

3. Mascara

It can often be quite difficult when applying mascara to stop it from getting onto your skin, so if you struggle with that, this tricks for you! When applying mascara, you want to use a card, for example, a points card, and hold it behind your lashes. This will stop mascara from getting onto your eyelids!

4. Toothpaste

So this one is a very well known one! If you put toothpaste on your spots before you got to bed and leave it overnight, it will help to clear them up!

5. Nail Polish

This is literally my lifesaver! You know when your nail polish is encrusted in the bottle and you can't open it? Well, this ones for you! When opening the bottle, wrap a hair band around this lid two or three times and then try and open it. This will become a lifesaver to you!

6. Charging

Most people already know this one, but if you don't, here you go! If you put your phone on aeroplane mode while charging, it will charge quicker! This is great if you are in a rush!

7. Cans

When opening a can, it can be so easy to break a nail! So what you want to do is put a hair band underneath the pully thingy! (if any of you know what they are called, let me know!) For this you will need quite a thick hair band because the thin ones aren't as strong.

8. Keys

We all know that feeling when we can't find the right key! So to avoid this confusion, paint the head of they key with nail polish!

9. Eyeliner

We have all had that feeling of frustration when our eyeliner won't match or just won't go straight all together. So to battle this trouble, you want to use masking tape to make sure it goes right! Before you start, you want to wax it on the back of your hand a couple of times so it loses it's stick, this way, it won't take off your make up.

10. Lipstick

Lipstick can wear VERY quickly, so to battle this problem and make it last longer, apply a small amount of powder to your lips. This will make your lipstick last so much longer!

11. Brushes

This is a new hack to me, but it works amazing! So after you've washed your brushes, you want to tip them upside down and roll them in between your hands so the water comes out of all of the fibres. This helps preserve the fluffiness of the brush!

12. Hair grips

Okay, this one may be a new one to you, but you may have been using hair grips wrong your whole life! So many people use the flat side of the grip against their hair, but in actual fact, you want to use the waved side against your hair as this will help the hair hold together much better and hold a stronger grip.

So I hope these hacks help you! Some of these will become your lifesavers! Let me know some of the ones which you enjoy and if you have any others which I have missed, make sure you leave them in the comments because I would love to know!

Thats all for this week! I will be posting again soon!

Hello Everybody!
Ever had that perfect polaroid moment but don't have the camera? Or maybe you just want to make a polaroid out of some of your old photos? Either way this post is for you!
So for this weeks post, I thought I would share with you a little technique which is great if you have ever wanted to make your own polaroids, but don't happen to actually have a polaroid camera.

I'm sure most of you lovely readers already know what a polaroid is, but if you don't, this is what they look like:

What you will need:

Wooden Pegs (optional)
String or something to hang them on (optional)
Photo paper

Making the polaroids:

The website which I use to make my polaroids is PicMonkey. I really like this website because it is so easy to use! Of course, you don't have to use this website, you could use powerpoint or another application which you are familiar with, but this is just the one which I will be using.

So to begin, you want to go to and click edit for free (top right corner). This screen will then come up:
You will want to change the background colour to a dark colour so the polaroids show up on the background. I usually change mine to black. You can do this by going to canvas colour. Next you want to add your polaroid frame onto the screen. You can do this using the overlay tool, which is the little butterfly.

Using the same tool, you can add your own photos and you have your polaroids!

You now want to save these and print them out on photo paper. You can now hang them how you wish. I recommend hanging them on string our ribbon and clipping the photos to the string using wooden pegs as this looks really nice!

Make sure you send me your recreations of the polaroids by tagging me on twitter @abbylouiseblog! I would love to see them!

Sorry this post isn't very long, I've been very busy lately and didn't have time to write a post in time for Sunday when I normally post, but I didn't want to leave you with out a post!
I hope this helped you in some way!
Love you all!

Hello Everybody! So its getting into Autumn, so I thought that I would do an Autumn wish-list because there are quite a few things which i would quite like to buy now its getting into the slightly chilly and cosy days.

Wooly Jumpers

Due to the Autumn season rolling in, many shops, for example, Primark, New Look and many more, are getting their Autumn/Winter clothing in. For me, this is actually very exciting! Autumn isn't usually a season which I really enjoy/ look forward to, however, this year, for some reason, I am really excited for it!
This a very similar jumper to
the one which I liked. I
couldn't actually find the exact one,
but this one is also available to
One of the many things which I am very excited about is wooly jumpers! I have never actually had a really nice wooly jumper because I have never seen one which I like. However, the other week, in Primark, I saw a very nice one and it is safe to say I may have got a tiny bit too excited. The one which I really liked was a grey one, it didn't have many patterns on it, I just really liked the colour. I think this would go great with a pair of black jeans or a skater skirt.

Skater Skirts

Okay, so right now, you're probably thinking I am straight up crazy, but I'm not... I promise! I think that skater skirts can look really nice with the wooly jumpers. In my personal wish-list, I have a burgundy one (also available from Primark) because I really like the colour, especially with a grey/ light brown jumper! Obviously, its a bit cold to wear this without tights, so I really recommend Primark tights. They are amazing quality!
This is the look which I was trying to
I will also be investing in a pair of boots as I think they would look amazing with this look! I think black or burgundy dolly shoes would look nice with this!

Fairy Lights

This isn't really a beauty or fashion wish but I do really want some fairy lights because I think these would look really cool in my room, perhaps wrapped around my bed or strung across the walls?
These are also available from Primark. I feel like this is turning into a Primark wish-list!

Tanya Burr: Hollywood Eye Pallet

I really would like to try a golden eye this autumn. Usually, I go for more of a natural look, however, this year, I'm going to try something new! I really like the fairytale eye pallet by Tanya Burr and I have also heard good things about the Hollywood Pallet, so this seems to be a good one to try!

Checked Scarf

So I actually brought one of these the other week, but I thought I would include it anyway as it was part of the original wish-list. Last year, I wanted one of these, but I could not find one which I wanted as I left it too late to find one. So this year, I thought I would get a head-start and get one! The one which I picked up is kind of Pastel colours, for example Pink, blue and a tiny bit of brown. I got it from Peacocks for £8.

On with my Primark love, they have their winter Pyjamas in! Me, having a lot of love for Primark Pyjamas, got VERY excited! Primark currently have loads of their new Pyjamas in, so make sure you check it out! But I do have a few personal favourites! One of them being their Winnie the Pooh pjs! I am a great lover of all things Disney BUT my all time favourite Disney film is Winnie the Pooh. I have loved this ever since I was a child! Let me know what your favourite Disney films are in the comments!
There were also loads of other Disney Pjs in there, so I'm sure you will find one which you like if you aren't a Pooh Bear lover like me! i also really liked the Disney Princess Pyjamas!
I'm sure many of you will share my love for Onesies and have seen many in Primark before, so this year there are also a couple in there! I was actually quite disappointed by the amount of Onesies in there as there were so many nice ones last year! However, this year, there are not was many. Despite that, there are a couple of nice ones!

Berry Lipstick

Okay, so there are a couple of different brands which you could use for Autumn. I already have a berry lipstick, however, it isn't my favourite. I feel like I could probably find a better one in Superdrug. If you have an suggestions, please leave them in the comments below! I also really like Rimmel 107 and I can tell I am going to be wearing it A LOT this year!

Zoella: Soak Opera

I feel like this is an absolute must-have during the Autumn and Winter! Obviously, you could use this all year around, but for me, this scent reminds me of a cosy evening! Any one else?
I've actually ran out of this, so I will defiantly be re-purchasing this! Let me know if you want me to do a Zoella Beauty review in the future because I think that would be quite a cool post to write?

So I think thats about it for my wish-list! I'm sure I will think of something else, so if that happens, I will make sure I will update this post! Also, leave all your suggestions below because I love reading all of your comments and replying to you all!
Thank you for all of your support! I love you all lots :)
Feel free to check out my twitter and keep up to date with all things me! @abbylouiseblog

Thank you for reading my blog!

I get a lot of support on my Finding Yourself post, so I thought I would do something similar as a new post.

I found this quote a long time ago and have liked it ever since. I think this quote is something that shouldn't be forgotten. Its okay to be shy, quite, hidden, not part of the 'popular squad". But who cares? Sometimes we need to break before we shine brighter than the others. I feel like this very much relates to everything I have already said in my Finding Yourself post, but I feel like this is VERY important.
Today, we are judged upon what we are like. Quiet, shy, loud, outgoing, mean, caring, horrible, wonderful. You could be the nicest person, but not appreciated because of it. However, there could be a popular person who is horrible. How is this relevant you ask? Because I want to make it known to people that you don't have to be popular to be amazing.

Life isn't about being popular, how many friends you have, its about having a good time. Life too short to worry about these things. After all, you only live once! In this lifetime, you should follow your dreams and don't care what everyone else thinks. If you wanna start a blog or YouTube channel, do it. If you want to become an actor, make it your goal. The best things come to those who wait and try their hardest!

Always remember, in life, we make mistakes, but we have the chance to fix these. So if you ever have that chance, take it! I am a big believer in everything happens for a reason!

Linking back to the glowsticks. Think about it this way:
For a glowstick to glow, you need to snap it before it works.

Just like us. We all get our chance to shine in life, we just have to be patient.

I'm still young and haven't experienced much in life, but I do know that we are in this world for a reason. Even though you may not be the most popular person in your 'Squad', school, work or college, always know that you are loved!

It is easy to feel excluded or unimportant. If you have ever felt left out, make this known and if you still feel left out, their clearly not worth your time! And to those of you who have ever excluded someone, its okay. We've all done it! But you have a chance to fix that, make sure you include everyone and don't be-little anyone!

It's okay to be a glowstick; sometimes we need to break before we shine!

I don't really know what inspired this post! I was going to do a September Favourites, however, I had an idea for this post. I may put up a September favourites later on in the week!

I came up with the idea for the post while listening to Troye Sivan's new EP Wild! I love it! I hope this post helps some of you! If it helps just one of you, it means the world to me!

Please leave some comments below! I love hearing from you guys! I love you all so much!

Hello Everybody!
So if your anything like me and your a bit nosey, this is a blog post for you! Today, I thought I would post a 'Whats I'm my make up bag' because my bag is looking quite full at the moment so I thought I'd see what I have in there! Here we go!

So my actual make-up bag is the Zoella 'Just Say Yes' beauty bag. I saw this in superdrug and actually got really excited! This wasn't part of the original collection, so I saw it and I was like 'Oooh thats new! I like that :)'  So as you may have guessed, I brought it!

I absolutely love this make-up bag! The shape is amazing and it fits loads in! I really recommend these! Plus their only £8.00.

Lip Products
Okay, so I didn't realise I had that many lip products, so I think I better start!
Rimmel Kate Moss 107

I brought this the other day, and can I just say, WOW. I love this lipstick and I can tell it is going to be a new favourite! It is like a red colour, but has a slightly darker tone to it! I love it.

Rimmel Kate Moss 38

I have been wearing this ALL summer, however, now we are going into the autumn months, I think I'm going to have to put this away till the slightly more sunny days! But its alright because is have Rimmel 107.

Limited: Plum Shine Lipstick

I picked this up in Marks and Spencers because it looked VERY similar to the Charlotte Tilbury Glastonberry lipstick. However, this one was much cheaper and still has amazing quality/stay power.
I will be wearing this a lot in autumn! Very Excited!

Tanya Burr: Afternoon Tea

I really like this! It is another one in my summery lip product selection! It is a pastel pink colour and has really nice coverage, meaning that it is an amazing quality lipgloss!

Maybeline, Baby Lips: Cherry Me

I love this. The cherry me baby lips is my favourite in the collection because it smells amazing! It also leaves my lips feeling really soft and shiny. It also leaves a slight red tint!

Maybeline, Baby Lips: Hydrate

I also have the hydrate from the collection. This is really good if you just want to re-hydrate your lips if they're a bit chapped!

Maybeline, Baby Lips: Peach Kiss

For me, this has the same sort of effect as the hydrate, but with a slight shimmer. This also smells really nice!

Zoella: Kissy Missy Lip Balm

I picked this up because I really liked the colour and it was quite a reasonable price. It is actually quite pigmented! The stay- power on the actual lip balm is amazing and lasts for a few hours! My only problem with this is that it is quite hard to spread when you first buy it. I found that a brush works really well to apply it!

eos: Passion Fruit (Purple)

There was a massive hype for these a couple of months ago and I wasn't really sure what it was  all about. In the UK, these are quite expensive, around £6.99, so I wasn't really sure whether or not I wanted to spend the money on this. It turns out, my friend actually brought me this for my birthday and I love it! I use this A LOT. I really recommend these! If you are looking for a good quality lip balm, this is one for you! You can find these in places like Urban Outfitters.

Face Products

So I don't actually wear foundation or concealer on a daily basis. However, I have used a couple before, so I thought I would leave them here as suggestions for good ones:

Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation & Concealer

I had seen both these products in videos and blog posts, which were all recommending it, so I gave it a try! I like foundations which are not matte. This is because I prefer more of a glow to my foundation. This was one of those glow foundations and I really liked it! I think it had quite good coverage. As for the Concealer, I really liked this! They come in a variety of skin tones and are really affordable.

Okay, so onto MY actual face products:

Collection, Bronze Glow Mosaic: 1 Sunkissed

I picked this up from Superdrug because I had heard some good reviews about it! I tried this and actually quite liked it. It has a slight shimmer to it, but also some matt shades in it.

Bourjois Blusher: 41 Healthy Mix

I'm not sure this shade is 100% correct for me! It comes out a very similar colour to the packaging. I was very impressed with the actual quality of the blusher, however, I do think I might need to pick a new shade!

Natural Collection Pressed Powder: Warm

I picked this up because I needed a new powder but this was the cheapest I could find from an OK brand. This powder is alright, but I probably wouldn't buy it again. It comes out in very strong amounts, so you do have to blend it well. In hind-sight, I probably should have waited a few days and brought a better quality one, for example the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder.

Collection Contour Kit: Highlight and Sculpt

I brought this because Zoella recommended it in her August Favourites video and I really liked the look of it! I was also looking for a new contour kit and this one seemed quite good! I do like this, however, you do have to be careful with the amount of the contour powder you put on because it comes out quite dark and needs a fair bit of blending.

I have quite a few eye products so I'm just gonna crack on with it!

Tanya Burr: Fairytale Eye palette

I picked this up because it had lots of natural eye shades, which I prefer, and it looked quite cool. The packaging is really nice and it has a little mirror inside.

MUA: Heaven and Earth Eye palette

I really like this! It is all natural shade, mainly browns and golds! Very Autumnal! It is also really cheap, only £4.00

Maybeline Falsies Mascara

I have mentioned this so many times, so I don't want to go on about it, but Oh My Gosh, I swear by this mascara at the moment! If you want to see my full review on this mascara make sure you check out my August favourites! (Sorry about the little Self Promo there ;) )

Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Gel Liner by Kate Emerald

I love this eyeliner! This is so good for cat eye flicks, especially if your like me and have issues with matching those flicks! The only problem with this is that it is waterproof and SOOOO hard to get off!

Essence: Liquid Liner Pen

I picked this up in Wilko (Yes, Wilkisons) because I wanted to try out a liquid liner pen before I went out and brought a really expensive one! I think you can also find this in some Superdrug's. I quite liked this, however, its starting to dry up now, so I'm going to have to start looking for a new one. If you have any suggestions, please leave them in the comments below!

Maybelline Expression Kajal Eye Liner Black

I picked this up in Superdrug because I wanted a good quality eye pencil and this was only £2.99. I don't use this a lot, but when I do, I tend to use it more in the winter as it isn't really a summer look for me as it makes by eyes look quite dark!

I don't actually keep my brushes in my make-up bag, I keep them in a wooden box I made, which doesn't have a lid, but if you are interested in looking what brushes I have, make sure you check out my  Real Techniques review post.

So thats about it from my make up bag!
As always, thank you for all of your continued support, every inch of it means the absolute world to me!

Hello Everybody! Firstly, I would just like to thank you all for the support on my Finding Yourself Post! All of your support means the world! As so many of you liked that post, I thought I would do some similar!

Above, there is a quote by the amazing Ashton Irwin, from my favourite band 5 Seconds of Summer! I found this quote and it really inspired me! If you can't read the quote (I know its quite small and a bit blurry) it reads-

"People aren't kind, you aren't perfect. They aren't perfect. No one is. Hearts Break. You fall in love. You are alive to feel. You are alive." -Ashton Irwin

I guess I really liked this quote because it basically sums up the feelings you go through throughout your life!

People aren't kind. Spot on Ashton! In case you haven't realised, people aren't kind. But there are many amazing and lovely people in this world! Everyone will have an effect on your life. Whether they were nice or not. For example, bands, YouTubers, etc, will never understand the amazing effect they have on so many peoples lives. But there are also the people who aren't kind who intend to have an effect. A negative one. Thats okay, without these people, we would not be who we are today.

You aren't perfect. They aren't perfect. No one is. I think this is my favourite part of this quote because it is so true. Theres not really much that I can add to this apart from:
Be who you want to be. Don't care what people think. Nobody's perfect, so they can't judge.

Hearts Break. You fall in Love. In reality, hearts do break. Whether thats happened to you or not, we all know that one day it might happen. But thats normal. It happens to everyone! As for falling in love, its the same thing.

I think that this quote should really be payed attention to. This is something everyone goes through and it is very accurate!

No-one should be made to think that they have to be someone that they are not, we should all just be ourselves! People will love you more if you are yourself and that is a really important message!

Sorry this post isn't much! I just wanted to post something sort of mid-week!I also just wanted to share this quote with you all! I will be posting like normal on Sunday!

Love you all!

As you probably don't know yet, I have ombre hair. If you don't know what this is, it is essentially where your hair goes from dark to light.
I would just  like to add that this isn't my image or me,
but this is a very good example
and very similar to my own :)

Dying My Hair
I recently ombre-d my hair for the first time in August. This is the first time I had ever dyed my hair, so I was slightly nervous to see how it turned out! But I was very impressed. To ombre my hair, I used the L'oreal Feria Wild Ombre kit.
The ombre kit which I used
I have to say, I wasn't sure how this would come out, but it came out really well for me! I thought the kit was really well designed with easy to follow steps. It was also good because you could choose how light you wanted your hair. This may sound really confusing, but the kit isn't actually hair dye. This kit comes with a special brush designed for applying the mixture onto your hair. This brush made it so much easier! For the actually mixture, you put the different chemicals (?) into the bottle that they supply and shake it. I believe that it is called a lightening cream. You simply apply this to the ends of your hair and wait between 20-45 minutes, depending on your personal preference. Finally, you wash it off and dry!
(Please Note: In no way am I an expert, so you should always read the box before dying your hair as this is probably not all correct!)

Washing My Hair

It can be hard to find a shampoo and conditioner that suits you and your scalp. If you are like me and have a sensitive scalp, it can especially be hard! I use Vosene Frequent Shampoo. For many months, I tried various different Shampoo's and Conditioners until I finally found one that didn't make my scalp really irritated! I use this every time I was my hair and I have never had a problem with it. It smells really nice and leaves my hair feeling, soft, fresh and and shiny. It is also really affordable, only £2.00  in places like Tesco and Superdrug!
Conditioner-wise, I have also tried many different conditioners, but lots of them left my hair looking shiny, but feeling quite dull and knotty. So the one which I use is actually a kids conditioner, but they leave my hair feeling soft, shiny and in really good condition! You can get them in many different scents, my favourites are grape and strawberry. The conditioner that I use is the L'Oreal Kids with the Very Berry Strawberry scent. You may have used this when you were a child and remember it in many different scents, but I can actually only find two! Either way, they smell amazing and leave your hair in an amazing condition. Again, these are only £1.99.

When actually washing my hair, I first massage the shampoo into my hair and scalp before washing it off and applying conditioner to the ends of my hair. Finally washing that off.
Before I dry my hair, I put the Pantene Dry Oil with Vitamin E on the ends of my hair. This basically helps repair and protect your hair from split ends and other damage that your hair might have! This is slightly more pricey, at £6.99, but definitely worth it!
Pantene Dry Oil

In terms of drying my hair, I don't really have much off a technique. My only tip for this is to dry downwards as this makes the water run down, rather than just blowing your hair in any direction. Drying your hair like this takes no time at all.
The shampoo

The conditioner

When brushing my hair, I tend to brush the bottom half first as this way you can get the knots out without tearing your hair. To do this, I take all of my hair to one side and hold it while I brush the ends. After doing this, I gradually move up my hair.

Styling my Hair

As you may be aware, putting a lot of heat through your hair isn't the best idea as your hair can't handle strong amounts. I am probably the WORST for this. Being someone who has naturally quite puffy, wavy hair after washing it, keeping it natural can be quite hard. So usually, the day after washing my hair, I do have to straighten it. Sometimes, I can get away with not straightening it as I am currently in the process of growing my hair, meaning that somedays, its not as puffy due to the weight. SOMEDAYS. However, sometimes, I do feel brave enough to not straighten it. On these days, I tend to do a half up, half down style top-not. Or just half up, half down normally.
Again, this isn't me, but this is a perfect example
of the style which I have been wearing a lot recently
that is a Topnot.

Other than the Shampoo, Conditioner and Oil, I don't really use other hair styling products on my hair. The only thing I do use every now and again is a hairspray or a detangling spray. I don't really use a particular brand, I just use whatever I have and change brands quite frequently.

Products mentioned

Vosene Shampoo

L'oread Kids Conditioner

Pantene Oil

L'oreal Ombre Kit

I you enjoyed this post and maybe gave you some ideas about how to care for your own hair! If you have any other tips or good products, please leave them in the comments because I would love to see them!
As always, thank you for all of your support! It means the world to me!

Recently, I read a post by a friend called  Sophia, which was called Pressure at 13. This post got me thinking a lot more than it probably should have! For me, this post was really relatable! So this is what this post was inspired by, it was also inspired by many other people, who I will mention in this post! Sorry if this is a bit deep and your prefer my reviews and stuff! But this post will be my thoughts and feelings about finding yourself.

Finding yourself is a difficult thing, especially through your teenage years where you have so many thoughts and feelings floating around your head, you don't really know what to think anymore. I know that one of these thoughts in my head is your appearance. In todays society, I believe we are judged a lot on what we look like and how we dress. We shouldn't be made to feel like this! You should be able to dress how you want, do your make up how you like etc. I know that my friends have had an influence on the types of things that I wear! Sometimes, it feels like my group of friends are judged upon for what we wear. This is wrong. I believe you should wear things that make you feel happy and comfortable. Don't be afraid of what people might think of you if you stand out! Be bold!

A second thing I feel is a thought of many teenagers, is the future. I know it seems a while away before you need to start thinking about a serious career, but when so many people are asking you what you want to do, its kind of hard to push it aside. As a child, I always said that I wanted to do something within fashion, art or photography. Whether thats in the fashion industry, being an artist or a photographer, its what I have always had a passion for. Recently, I have been asked 'what do you want to do when your older?' a lot. I always reply with the same answer. However, sometimes I think to myself, what if I have made a mistake? But in the end, we only regret the chances we didn't take. So if its what you want to do, take the leap of faith, you will never know what will happen if you don't! At the moment, I write a blog and I am still in education, so I'm still deciding what I want to do with my life. Whether I go to college and uni, start YouTube one day, or I take a completely different path! I'm happy at the moment with what I do, so thats the most important thing!

Finally, you should start to say yes to things. The more you say yes to things, the more opportunities will come to you! I have said yes to a couple of things this year, but one of the biggest things I said yes to was starting this blog! About a year ago, I would have been too scared to put my thoughts and feelings onto the online world, but I decided that I would go for it because it is something that I have always wanted to try! And I 'm glad I did!

I have found a few quotes which are quite inspiring with finding yourself and saying yes, so I though I would include a few:

'Just Say Yes' -Zoella (aka Zoe Sugg)
'Sometimes the only way to ever find yourself to get completely lost.' -Kellie Elmore
'Starts can't shine without darkness' -unknown
'Stop dreaming, start doing' -unknown
'I am on a rollercoaster that only goes up' -The fault in our stars

I hope you enjoyed this post and you can relate to it! Please leave some comments of any other thoughts that you might have! I will be back to my normal posts next week!
I will also leave a link to Zoella's Just Say Yes video because that video also inspired me to say yes to many things as well!
As always, thank you so much for your support! It means the world to me!
